The authors aim to evaluate the efficacy of copolymer 1 in the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) compared with no treatment in the progression of the disease.
Authors' conclusions
The authors conclude that copolymer 1 is an expensive drug with small quantifiable benefits in terms of QALYs, and are unconvinced about the merits of introducing it.
