Authors' objectives
To determine the most clinically and cost-effective programme of routine ultrasound scanning and screening which can be offered to women in Scotland before 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Authors' conclusions
Implemenation of the recommendations will address the current variation in provision of ultrasound scanning and screening services, however considerable reorganisation will be required.
