Ottawa: Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH). 2012 Authors' conclusions RCTs failed to consistently demonstrate statistically significant or clinically-meaningful weight-loss with mindfulness training. Two evidence-based guidelines recommend the use of behavioural modification therapy for the management of obesity; however, neither guideline specifically addressed any particular mindfulness interventions.
