Participants included in the review
Studies of participants receiving any type of home care were eligible for inclusion. Studies that focused specifically on children or caregivers were excluded. The participants included in the review were older people; people with advanced cancer, acute surgical conditions, acute and chronic medical conditions; or elderly medical patients.
Outcomes assessed in the review
Studies that measured FHS and QoL were eligible for inclusion.
