64-slice multi-detector CT (15 studies; n=1,008 patients): The 64-slice multi-detector CT was able to visualise 97% of all coronary artery segments. Sensitivity ranged from 77 to 99%, with summary sensitivity of 89%. Specificity ranged from 91 to 99% and summary specificity was 96%.
16-slice multi-detector CT (16 studies, n=1,193 patients): The 16-slice multi-detector CT was able to visualise 92% of coronary artery segments. Sensitivity ranged from 67 to 96% and summary sensitivity was 88%. Specificity ranged from 86 to 99% and summary specificity was 96%.
In-stent restenosis assessment
64-slice multidetector CT (eight studies; n=615 patients): The 64-slice multi-detector CT was able to assess 88% of all stented arteries. Sensitivity ranged from 75% to 100% and summary sensitivity was 92%. Specificity ranged from 86 to 100% and summary specificity was 92%.
16-slice multi-detector CT (six studies, n=284 patients): The 16-slice multi-detector CT was able to assess 72% of stented arteries segments. Sensitivity ranged from 65 to 100% and summary sensitivity was 73%. Specificity ranged from 87 to 100% and summary specificity was 95%.
40-slice multi-detector CT (one study; n=65 patients): The study of 40-slice multi-detector CT reported sensitivity of 78% and specificity of 83%.
Bypass graft occlusion after coronary artery bypass graft assessment
64-slice multi-detector CT (four studies; n=194 patients): The 64-slice multi-detector CT was able to visualise 98% of all bypass grafts. Sensitivity was 100% in all studies. Specificity ranged from 98 to 100% and summary specificity was 100%.
16-slice multi-detector CT (6 studies; n=297 patients): The 16-slice multi-detector CT was able to visualise 94% of bypass grafts. Sensitivity was 100% in all studies. Specificity ranged from 92 to 100% and summary specificity was 98%.
Assessment of bypass graft stenosis after coronary artery bypass graft
64-slice multi-detector CT (seven studies; n=415 patients): The 64-slice multidetector CT was able to assess stenosis in 98% of all bypass grafts. Sensitivity ranged from 85 to 100% and summary sensitivity was 98%. Specificity ranged from 89 to 100% and summary specificity was 97%.
16-slice multi-detector CT (four studies; n=230 patients): The 16-slice multi-detector CT was able assess stenosis in 94% of bypass grafts. Sensitivity ranged from 95 to 100% and summary sensitivity was 98%. Specificity ranged from 89 to 100% and summary specificity was 98%.
