Rapid Response - Summary with Critical Appraisal. 2013 Authors' conclusions Two studies were included that evaluated the technology as an adjunct to surgical periodontal treatment. The available evidence showed that the use of this technology as an adjunct to the surgical periodontal treatment did not ameliorate patients outcomes more than what was seen with the conventional surgical periodontal treatment.
