Perianal Support (HPS) for the prevention and treatment of patients with constipation, haemorrhoid and anal fissure. Authors' conclusions There were three retrievable articles (one randomised controlled trial, one non-randomised controlled trial and
one pre and post intervention study) related to the effectiveness of Colorec Bowel Aid with HPS in treatment of
patients with anal fissure.
There was limited fair level of evidence to suggest the effectiveness of Colorec Bowel Aid with HPS in the
treatment of patients with chronic anal fissure.
There was no report of adverse events on the use of this device. However, it has been approved by Korean FDA and has CE mark. There was no retrievable evidence on the prevention of constipation and its complications including hemorrhoid and anal fissure.
